Scotties WebRing

Instructions:

Click the Join this Ring button in the right corner of the Ring Hub page. Fill in the form that appears with the URL, title, and description of your site. Your application to join the Ring will be sent to the RingMaster, who will approve or deny your application. You will be notified of the RingMaster's decision via email.

In the meantime, install the  navigation bar code on your page. (Be sure to use the exact web address you entered on the application form.) To get the nav bar code, select the My Rings link on the top bar of almost any page in the system. On the My Rings page, find the title of the Ring you have applied to. Click the Get Nav Bar link. Cut and paste the code onto your page. The RingMaster will not approve your application unless you have the code installed on your page.

GUIDELINES:

We welcome sites which feature your beloved Scots, either pet or show, sites which place emphasis on health issues, rescue efforts, for Scottish Terriers. Sites which offer Scottie related merchandise are also welcome! Scottish Terrier lovers are avid collectors of all things Scottie!

Sites which offer nothing more than puppies for sale, dogs up for stud service, or in any way promote abuse, neglect, or improper dog ownership will not be accepted.

If you are nothing more than a web presence for a puppy mill, dog auction, or other such disgusting ventures, don't bother me, you will not be accepted!!

If you passed the test, then please, continue on and join our band of happy Scottie owners!

Note: For site which utilize FRAMES, the ring code needs to appear on the initial page, in one of the windows. If not, the page visitors will see upon surfing via the ring code will be the page with the code, not the 'view' you are expecting!

The code also needs to be either on your main page, or your scottie page, or on a page of webring links. This is actually not as bad as it was, the Navigation Bar is far less intrusive, and another added bonus, there is no longer any graphic you have to upload to your webserver, the graphic is pulled from Webring itself.

Once you've signed up, I review the submitted site, and if I find a problem with the URL, I will either fix the address in WebRing, or notify the site owner of the problem.
