Inspite of my personal reservations about his fear of electrical appliances, he was on his bestest behavior! I inspected the groomer for teeth marks, and found none! He made me very proud today! (And he acts like he knows it!)

Spencer now gets all his grooming done at home, it has been wonderful learning how to properly groom him, and his Westie sis, Abby!

Watching show dogs being groomed has been invaluable, and though most pet Scotties don't have to endure long hours day after day staying in top condition, the bond that forms between dog and owner in the process is priceless.

Scotties, Westies, and most terriers are stripped for showing, and with patience, and time, this art can be learned, and you will have a handsome, wiry top coat as the end result!

Clippering the back, while fast and efficient, causes wheatens to appear almost white, and the coat will be soft. The natural wiry top coat protects the dog from the elements.
